Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador

I am writing on behalf of the parents and children, some of who cannot speak for themselves, of the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, South and Central Chapter, to let you know how pleased we were to have Tony Quinn as Emcee for our Autism in Autumn event on Oct 2nd. Once at the mic, he displayed himself as a warm and fuzzy guy who reaches out to deliver well timed punch lines and still make you feel you want to share a beer with him. The seriousness of his manner is straight laced and could make a great replacement for Leslie Neilson’s deadpan roles. He was genuinely interested in the success of our event as borne out by his prior research into Autism and how he effortlessly incorporated that knowledge into his act. As well, Tony spent this time in between sets motivating the crowd and promoting Autism awareness . As a result of Tony's’ abilities and his help, we found our Autism in Autumn Gala 2010 a success and would welcome Tony back again at a future event.
